Free-agent cornerback Chris Harris Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

'About five teams inquiring' on free-agent four-time Pro Bowl CB Chris Harris Jr.

Training camps are opening up across the NFL and there are still some talented veteran players on the free agency market.

Cornerback Chris Harris Jr. recently turned 33 years old, has been in the league for over a decade and has laced up for over 160 regular season games. Still, the four-time Pro Bowler doesn't sound like he's ready to call it quits.

Harris Jr. told SiriusXM NFL Radio that there are a handful of teams he's been in contact with.

The Kansas product spent the 2020 and 2021 campaigns with the Los Angeles Chargers, after playing with the Denver Broncos from 2011 to 2019 to start his career. Harris Jr. finished 2021 with a career-low 37 combined tackles for the second straight season (though he was limited to 14 games), while recording six passes defended and one interception.
