The “OJ: Made in America” 30 for 30 documentary that ABC and ESPN have been running has really been fantastic, and Part 3 reminded me of one of the greatest lines in American history.

While making a call to 911 during the infamous White Bronco chase, Al Cowlings, OJ Simpson’s best friend who was driving the White Bronco, uttered a hilarious line. He was on the phone with an operator talking about OJ’s status and was asked who he was. A bewildered Cowlings then blurted back, “My name is AC — you know who I am goddammit!”

AC’s delivery there was just incredible. He was just like “I got half the LAPD on my tale, don’t act like you don’t know who I am!”

That line will never not make me laugh.
