Alex Cappa did not participate in team drills at Bengals training camp practice due to a "strain" on Sunday according to offensive line coach Frank Pollack.

Pollack addressed Cappa's exit midway through practice as Trey Hill filled in for him.

"Maybe a little strain that's all. I'll let the head coach and trainer dig into all that, a just precautionary deal," Pollack said after practice. "So no big deal."

Pollack did not elaborate on where the strain was. Cappa has battled through a couple of injuries as a Bengal since joining the team last spring, including a core muscle issue and ankle injury late this past season.
