Angela Baker becomes second female assistant coach added to Giants staff
The New York Giants have added Angela Baker to Brian Daboll's coaching staff, making her the second woman to join the team this offseason.
ESPN's Field Yates reported Baker will serve as minority coaching fellow and offensive quality control coach.
As Yates notes, Baker, 29, previously spent time with the Browns, where she worked with quarterbacks. She most recently held a post at the University of Redlands, where she was the Bulldogs' special teams/defensive quality control coach.
Last month, the Giants hired Laura Young as director of coaching operations. Young, who had previously been the Buffalo Bills' player services coordinator, is believed to be the Giants' first-ever female coaching hire.
