Antonio Brown ordered to pay alleged sexual assault victim $100K for confidentiality agreement violation

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown has, unsurprisingly, found himself caught up in more legal issues.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Brown has been ordered to pay Britney Taylor, the woman who said he sexually assaulted her, $100,000 after he allegedly violated a confidentiality agreement.

The 32-year-old was sued by Taylor in 2019 after she alleged he sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions. After filing the lawsuit, Brown and Taylor entered into a confidentiality agreement, which the NFL star has allegedly violated.

According to TMZ, Taylor says Brown violated the agreement multiple times in the past year-and-a-half. An independent arbitrator found that Brown did violate the agreement when he posted screenshots of a conversation with a person talking to him about the case in 2019.

Brown is fighting the ruling by saying it was not made in accordance with the law and should therefore be thrown out. The rape case dispute remains unresolved.

Brown was out of the NFL for about a year due to his ongoing dispute with Taylor and questions regarding his character. Tom Brady encouraged the Buccaneers to sign the troubled wide receiver, and the two sides agreed to a one-year deal in October.
