The city is buzzing, with 4 days left until the season opener, Tulane Green Wave is ready for the season. New Orleans Saints legend, Archie Manning stopped by practice on Wednesday to give the team some wisdom and energy for their first game.

Tuesday the team enjoyed a snowball day during practice. That night the equipment team spent the hours getting the Helmets ready. All in all, the city of New Orleans is buzzing with energy for this Green Wave football season.

With expectations on this team this season high, the excitement is even higher. The city is counting down to Saturday with the team screaming “Roll Wave”.

Tulane Green Wave are 28.5 point favorites Saturday against UMASS, which shows how good this team can be. Vegas predicts the Green Wave will score around 45 points and give up around 15.

This offense is high powered, and if turnovers are kept down and we can convert on 3rd downs, we will have a chance in any game this season. I predicted in my last article, this is a 8-9 win team this season, shocking the world.

Head Coach Willie Fritz is too talented to have two seasons in a row of under 5 wins. With the quarterback having another off season to mature, I expect to see this team coming out hot.

Tulane Green Wave betting lines and how to watch week 1:

Tulane season opener 4 days away, Saturday 09/03/22 at 6:00 pm central. The Green Wave according to ESPN have a 93% chance to win. The spread is set at 28.5 in Tulane’s favor, the over/under is 59. You can watch the game on ESPN+.

I am not betting this game, If i did I would lean towards the under, only because 4 out their last 5 games last season went under. Also the spread of 28.5 is dropping from the 30 it opened at, taking a chance on UMASS keeping this game under 28 points would be the smart play.
