Several wide receivers will be linked to the Carolina Panthers over the next couple of weeks as the organization aims to give Bryce Young more firepower to work with. Arguably the biggest trait Carolina needs to add is speed and there are few faster in the league than Arizona's Marquise Brown.

Brown is an unrestricted free agent this offseason and all signs point to him playing elsewhere in 2024. According to Spotrac, Brown has a market value of $14.8 million. The projected contract is four years for $59.5 million for the 26-year-old receiver.

Richie Bradshaw of All Cardinals on FanNation recently listed the six most likely landing spots for "Hollywood" with the Carolina Panthers being on top. The Atlanta Falcons, Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots, New York Giants, and the Tennessee Titans were the other five he sees as fits.

"The name of the game is to get Bryce Young help. I don't care if it's pass catchers or blockers, but Young is going to fail unless this franchise steps up and helps him.

"Brown has shown he can be a team's number one receiver, albeit a limited one who is a much better number two option. The Panthers can't be choosy, however, given the entirety of the situation to include a new staff and a headache of an owner in Dave Tepper.

"At least for 2024, Brown can be Young's top receiver and Brown can also be happy to know Carolina may be willing to sign him to a bigger contract than other teams due to need at the position."

Brown dealt with a heel injury toward the end of the 2023, cutting his season short. He finished the year with 51 receptions for 574 yards and four touchdowns - not bad production considering Kyler Murray played half of the season.
