The San Francisco 49ers have released the list of inactive players for their Week 16 matchup at home against the Baltimore Ravens. These seven players will not suit up for the game.

Inactives:

  • QB Brandon Allen
  • DT Arik Armstead (foot, knee)
  • LB Oren Burks (knee)
  • TE Ross Dwelley (ankle)
  • WR Jauan Jennings (concussion)
  • RB Elijah Mitchell (knee)
  • CB Samuel Womack

On Saturday, the 49ers ruled out Armstead, Burks, Dwelley, and Jennings against the Ravens. The team listed three players, defensive end Randy Gregory (illness), defensive tackle Javon Hargrave (hamstring), and Mitchell, as "questionable." Gregory and Hargrave are active, while Mitchell is inactive.

Armstead will miss his third consecutive game due to foot and knee injuries. Burks is dealing with a knee injury, while Dwelley continues working through a high-ankle sprain. Jennings didn't clear the concussion protocol in time for the game.

Ahead of the Christmas night showdown, the 49ers promoted wide receiver Willie Snead from the practice squad to the active roster. The team waived offensive lineman Matt Pryor in a corresponding move.

Additionally, the 49ers elevated defensive lineman T.Y. McGill and cornerback Jason Verrett from the practice squad. These are standard elevations. Both players will revert back to the practice squad after the game.
