The Atlanta Falcons can go in a lot of directions when it comes to their 2024 offseason. Since it’s become clear that they’ll be looking for a new quarterback for next season, their fans are waiting with bated breath on what strategy they’ll take in picking a signal caller for next season.

While the 2024 class has one of the better crop of rookie quarterbacks in recent memory, the Falcons can also opt to chase a more established QB o quickly bring them to relevance in the NFC South. One of the QBs they can go for can quickly fit in with them if his contract situation with his team doesn’t work out.

Bijan Robinson wants Kirk Cousins to play for the Atlanta Falcons

Bijan Robinson, who enjoyed a fantastic rookie season with the Falcons, was questioned about the possibility of getting a veteran QB like Kirk Cousins to throw passes to him and his teammates. He answered the query with surprising honesty.

Per Heavy’s Josh Buckhalter:

“He could come to us,” Robinson said on “Sports Seriously” on February 14. “But I kinda have a feeling he might stay in Minnesota.”

Raheem Morris made it clear during his introductory press conference that “anything is possible” when it came to which quarterback would replace Desmond Ridder in 2024. The former Cincinnati standout was disappointing in his first full season as the starting QB, throwing for 2836 passing yards, 12 TDs, and 12 interceptions in 15 games.

Meanwhile, Kirk Cousins enjoyed another solid season with the Vikings before he had to go down with a season-ending injury against the Green Bay Packers. The Michigan State product finished his 12th NFL season with 2331 passing yards, 18 TDs and 5 interceptions.

While Cousins’ future with the Vikings still in question, it will give the Falcons plenty of leverage if they decide to pick him up. They have a capable offense that would provide Cousins with the necessary weapons to succeed in the NFC.
