The Baltimore Ravens have been ravaged by injuries in the first quarter of the season. The offensive line is nursing injuries along with the defensive secondary. The wide receiver room is not immune and a pair of players, Odell Beckham Jr. and Rashod Bateman, have been ruled out for week 4.

Baltimore Ravens Odell Beckham Jr. & Rashod Bateman Out

It isn’t necessarily a surprise that these two players have been ruled out. Beckham Jr. did not practice on Friday and is nursing an ankle injury. Bateman was also not spotted at practices due to his hamstring injury. When the team re-signed Lamar Jackson, their goal was to build a potent offense around him. That potent offense now consists mostly of Jackson and rookie Zay Flowers after JK Dobbins went down with an Achilles injury. Week 4 is a tough matchup to have the best players out.

Cleveland Browns Defense

The Browns defense has been suffocating this season. They have shut down opposing offenses and should give Jackson and crew trouble on Sunday. The silver lining is that Jackson is an electric player. If there is one player that can wiggle out of tight situations, it is Lamar Jackson. It is going to be a tough game but the Ravens are hoping that their defense can keep them in it while the offense tries to break through the defense.

Can the Baltimore Ravens have one season with everyone healthy? This seems like a yearly occurrence. Injuries are a part of the game but the injury bug seems to bite the Ravens especially hard every year. The Ravens have historically been able to overcome injuries. They need to do it again if they are going to compete in the AFC.
