Only two weeks are left for the NFL draft and the teams are gearing up to pick the best talents in the team. All eyes are on Caleb Williams as he is expected to get the first-round pick in the draft. He is predicted to join the Chicago Bears.

Amid all the speculations going on regarding the trade, the Chicago Bears defensive end DE Montez Sweat had a suggestion to the former college-level quarterback. He advised the QB to stay calm and composed and not to take the burden if he gets drafted by the Chicago Bears squad.

Be yourself. Don't try to do it all overnight and just stay humble. Don't try to do it all by yourself. You got a great group of guys around you … Keenan Allen, and Swift from Philly. Just be humble and be yourself. Montez Sweat told Chris Long on The Green Light Podcast

In a short period, the DE has become the favorite of the fans. He has spent six months in the squad, however, shares a feeling of being his own in the Bears’ squad. Amid the poor performance of the team last season, the DE did stand out putting up decent numbers.

The Bears paid him back with a lucrative contract. The DE signed a deal that valued him at $98 million for four years. He will receive an annual salary of over $24.5 million. The DE has become one of the highest-paid players in his category.

Acquiring Caleb Williams, the Chicago Bears can create history in this NFL Draft

If the Chicago Bears go for Caleb Williams, then the team will create history. Since its inception, the team has never had a quarterback with more than 4,000 yards and 30 touchdowns. Williams holds the record and if he becomes a part of the Bears team, then he will be the first Bears QB with that achievement.

A few days back, the team decided to trade their ‘popular’ quarterback Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was a difficult decision as Fields had a lot of support inside the team. However, the team did not hesitate to trade him.

It is to be seen whether Caleb Williams gets the first-round pick in the coming NFL draft. Apart from him, Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels are also favorites for the top three draft picks.
