The Chicago Bears have an incredible situation after the first pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Picking Caleb Williams No. 1 overall is almost official but what happens after that selection is intriguing. The Bears have been rumored to trade both up and down from the No. 9 pick with speculation growing recently that they'll use the pick on Rome Odunze.

As the opening of the 2024 NFL Draft nears, things are beginning to heat up. According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic, Ryan Poles and the Chicago Bears are very much open for business with the ninth pick. Russini adds the Bears are ready to move for the right price. The question is: What is the right price?

Are The Bears Trading The Ninth Pick?

With few precious minutes left before the NFL Draft kicks off, teams are starting to make phone calls inquiring about potential trade partners. Dianna Russini posted on X, that the Los Angeles Rams are looking to trade into the top 10.

Could Ryan Poles be taking calls from Rams' GM, Les Snead? Los Angeles hasn't made a first-round selection since 2016 and they currently own the 19th pick. If they were to make a deal, it would likely cost the Rams multiple picks this year and the next.

After making the proposed deal with Los Angeles, who would Ryan Poles target with the 19th pick? Could Oregon State offensive lineman Taliese Fuaga or Florida State edge rusher Jared Verse still be available there?

This move is a gamble from both parties here but Ryan Poles has proven before that he enjoys having more draft capital. Acquiring more picks from the Rams could be the best move for the Chicago Bears, allowing them to fill multiple positions with first or second-round talent.
