Ben Roethlisberger suggests we don't know the whole Tom Brady story

Does Ben Roethlisberger know something we don't?

The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback weighed in on Tom Brady's decision to leave the New England Patriots after 20 years to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and it sounded like the Patriots organization may have done Brady dirty over the years.

“I thought for sure he would go back. But sometimes, there might be deeper wounds than people might realize. I don’t know if that’s the case or not,” Roethlisberger told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Whether he has wounds from Bill Belichick, Robert Kraft or another member of the Patriots organization we'll never know, but Big Ben suggested Brady will love playing under Bucs head coach Bruce Arians in Tampa Bay.

“B.A. is a great quarterbacks coach and a great players’ coach,” he said. “Tom is going to love it there. Talk about going from opposite ends of the spectrum with coaches.”

Arians was with Roethlisberger as Pittsburgh's offensive coordinator from 2007-2011, and the duo reached two Super Bowls together, taking home the title in 2008.

If Arians can help lead Brady to another Super Bowl appearance, the duo will likely get along just fine.
