The Cincinnati Bengals were the recipients of mostly good news, as they will have two key players available to them on Monday. Wide receiver Tee Higgins and linebacker Logan Wilson will play against the Jaguars, according to reports.

This is the first game for Higgins since the Bengals’ 24-18 win over the Buffalo Bills in early November. It was a tough loss for the Cincinnati offense as Higgins set a season-high with 110 yards receiving and tied his high in receptions with eight. The Bengals would end up losing all three games in which Higgins was absent with his hamstring injury.

It was an ankle injury for Wilson, which put his status in doubt, but Cincinnati’s for Monday night’s matchup with Jacksonville. Wilson is the Bengals’ leading tackler with 89 total tackles (58 solo), in addition to intercepting three passes and successfully defending six.

Not all of the news for Cincinnati was of the positive variety. Cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt will miss the contest with a quad injury. Taylor-Britt leads the Bengals in interceptions (4) and passes defenses (10) this season despite already missing one game. Not having the talented second-year cornerback could be an issue against the Trevor Lawrence-led Jaguars passing attack.  Cincinnati is allowing just under 250 yards per game through the air this season, a number that Lawrence is more than capable of eclipsing. The Bengals’ 26th-ranked pass defense is going to have its hands full, and it could be an issue to keep the game competitive because of it.
