Bengals' Joe Burrow wows in first half of playoff debut

If Joe Burrow had jitters ahead of his first NFL playoff game, he didn't show it on the field. The Cincinnati Bengals' second-year quarterback came out firing, finishing his first half of postseason play with 146 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions.

Burrow, 25, got things started by leading the Bengals to a touchdown on its first drive of the game with a 7-yard strike to tight end C.J. Uzomah.

But it was another pass to Uzomah that really had viewers talking. In the second quarter, Burrow found the tight end on a seam route with a laser of a pass, despite the fact that Uzomah was blanketed by Las Vegas Raiders linebacker Divine Deablo.

Burrow topped that impressive throw later on the same drive, by narrowly avoiding the sideline and throwing to the end zone for a 10-yard touchdown to Tyler Boyd.

The latter play came with a good bit of controversy as an inadvertent whistle was heard just before Boyd caught the pass. Regardless, the Bengals went to halftime with a 20-13 lead over the Raiders.
