Bengals' Joe Mixon ruled out vs. Browns with foot injury

Joe Mixon was seen dancing on his injured foot at Thursday's Cincinnati Bengals practice, indicating that his foot might not have been bothering him anymore. Apparently, though, that's not the case.

The Bengals running back has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Cleveland Browns, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Mixon injured his foot during last week's 31-27 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

The 24-year-old has rushed for 428 yards and three touchdowns this season with 21 receptions for 138 yards and one touchdown.

With Mixon out, Giovani Bernard will likely get the start in the backfield, maintaining his third-down role while also seeing more snaps on first and second down.

Semaje Perine and Trayveon Williams also will be active for Sunday's game and could see snaps at running back.
