Bengals kicker Austin Seibert inactive vs. Browns, won't face former team

Cincinnati Bengals placekicker Austin Seibert will have to wait to get revenge on his former employer.

Days after the Bengals claimed Seibert off waivers, Cincinnati made the 23-year-old inactive for Thursday's game versus the Cleveland Browns

The Browns parted ways with Seibert following Sunday's 38-6 loss to division foes the Baltimore Ravens. He missed his only extra-point attempt of the contest and also a 41-yard field goal during the season opener.

The Bengals added Seibert to the roster because first-choice Cincinnati kicker Randy Bullock complained of dealing with cramps that he said caused him to miss a game-tying field goal attempt in the closing seconds of Sunday's 16-13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Bullock was awarded an opportunity to redeem himself at FirstEnergy Stadium on Thursday evening.
