The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11, and almost had a chance to face the Baltimore Ravens. But the Kansas City Chiefs edged out the Ravens 17-10 in the AFC Championship game to earn the spot instead.

San Francisco kicker Robbie Gould is getting ready for whatever action he's called upon for and sat down with the Stacking the Box podcast this week.

He was asked about his most memorable kick, and like most kickers, had trouble singling out one.

"It's weird, because I can't like just pick one ... if I had to pick, I think one of my favorite kicks is the Green Bay playoff kick from two years ago in the divisional round ... zero degree weather. 45 yards. That was significant to me because I know what it meant to Chicago Bear fans, but I also know what it meant to the Bay Area to get to the NFC Championship," Gould said.

Then he was asked who he would consider the greatest of all time to be in the kicking world. And his answer will please Ravens fans.

"Justin Tucker is probably the best kicker to ever play the game. He's got a lot of intangibles of power and accuracy, which, you know, like I'm not a power guy. I was more of an accuracy guy ... he had both, which is unique to see."

It's a fair choice for Gould, as Tucker is 15th all time in field goals made and No. 1 in accuracy, converting on 90.2 percent of his career attempts.

And Gould knows a little something about making field goals.

Gould has made the eighth most field goals in NFL history, and is the most accurate of all the top 10 in field goals made with an 86.5 percent conversion rate.
