Betting on the Chiefs' Skyy Moore to top all rookies in receiving yards
NFL season is a little over a month away, and sports betting in Kansas is soon to launch. With that in mind, it felt like a nice time to look around the market to find our favorite Chiefs player prop for the season, and we've narrowed our search down to one of their new pass catchers.
Skyy Moore: Regular Season Most Rookie Receiving Yards (+1000)
The Chiefs selected Moore in the second round of this year's NFL Draft, and the young slot receiver from Western Michigan has a tremendous opportunity to slot in as an immediate contributor for this offense.
Tyreek Hill is now a member of the Dolphins, traded this past offseason. Hill is taking with him 111 receptions and 1,239 yards from last season. That's a lot of volume up for grabs, and Patrick Mahomes has a new set of receivers to distribute that work.
Sure, maybe JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling step up, but Moore has been making plays early in training camp and feels like a natural fit for the Tyreek Hill role on this offense.
Moore's 40 time put him in the 90th percentile from the combine, and Moore is fresh off a 94-catch, 1,283-yard, 10-touchdown season in college.
This is an impressive rookie receiving class, which includes the likes of Garrett Wilson, Treylon Burks, Drake London and Chris Olave, A bet on Moore is very much a projection of what could be. There is so much volume available in this Chiefs pass-heavy attack, Moore is in such a great spot.
