Day one is in the books for the Detroit Lions and it went very well for them. The board broke in the perfect way and it allowed the Lions to get the best cornerback in the draft in Alabama's Terrion Arnold.
Now we move to day two where there's two rounds and plenty of decisions to make. Here's the Lions biggest needs on Friday:
A Trade
The Lions made a big trade on night one and it was worth it, the problem is that the Lions now only have one pick on day two and that's the 61st pick in the second-round.
The Lions might be wise to trade that pick down and round out their draft a bit more. Either that or they could push their chips into the center of the table and try to trade future assets to move back into the second round. If they stick, 103 picks will go by until the Lions are on the board again on Saturday.
X Receiver
Day one took away a lot of the top options at this spot, but there's still guys that could be had by the Lions on day two. Florida State's Keon Coleman, Oregon's Troy Franklin, North Carolina's Tez Walker and Florida State's Johnny Wilson. If the Lions don't grab one on day two, there could be bit of a hole in their receiving corps.
Edge Rusher
The top edge rushers are gone, but there's still some good players left in this draft that could make an immediate impact. Western Michigan's Marshawn Kneeland is the big one, but there's others like Utah's Jonah Elliss, Penn State's Adisa Isaac, Kansas' Austin Booker, Houston Christian's Jalyx Hunt, Washinton's Bralen Trice and Colorado State's Mohamed Kamara.
Offensive lineman
Round one was chock full of offensive lineman, but no interior offensive linemen were taken. If the Lions hope to fill this position and have a player for the future, they could really score on day two. It might require them having to move back into the round by trading future assets though.
But they have shot at Orgeon's Jackson Powers-Johnson, West Virgina's Zach Frazier, Connecticut's Christian Haynes, Kansas State's Cooper Beebe, South Dakota State's Mason McCormick and Boston College's Christian Mahogany. Trading up would be worth it.
