Bills center Mitch Morse suffers fifth career concussion

The Buffalo Bills have to play the remainder of Sunday's game against the New England Patriots without Mitch Morse.

The Bills starting center suffered a concussion on Buffalo's first offensive drive of the game. He was slow to get up but eventually walked off the field under his own power after being looked at by trainers.

Morse signed a four-year, $40 million deal with the Bills last offseason after spending the first four seasons of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The 28-year-old missed most of the team's training camp in 2019 with a concussion and the one he suffered on Sunday marks the fifth of his career, according to Marcel Louis-Jacques.

After he returned from a concussion last summer, Morse said experts told him not to worry if he suffers more, according to Harry Scull Jr. of the Buffalo News. Despite what the experts say, suffering more concussions could be detrimental to Morse's health, and we've seen plenty of former football players suffer from CTE after sustaining many head injuries.
