Bills' Jordan Poyer details road trip to Chiefs game, playing with collapsed lung

Buffalo Bills All-Pro safety Jordan Poyer traveled 15 hours by van in order to compete with his teammates on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6 on Sunday.

Poyer was unable to fly with the rest of the Bills due to a lung contusion that he suffered in Week 4 against the Baltimore Ravens.

On Monday, the 31-year-old talked about the experience on "The Pat McAfee Show." Poyer called in from the road, as the van was approaching Fort Wayne, Indiana and he had "about six more hours" remaining on the lengthy trip.

Poyer finished Sunday's game with four tackles while playing every defensive snap in the contest. The Bills (5-1) defeated the Chiefs (4-2), 24-20.

Despite missing two games this season, Poyer is currently tied for the NFL lead with four interceptions.
