The Buffalo Bills have been one of the best teams in football for the past couple of seasons, with Josh Allen taking his game to an MVP level in 2024.

Having made it to the AFC Championship for just the second time in his career in 2024, Allen has once again put the Bills right into the Super Bowl conversation, and perhaps the team is in its best position to break through in the playoffs.

With Allen upright, the Bills' Super Bowl window will always be "open," but it is just a matter of how open.

For Pro Football Focus' Zoltán Buday, Buffalo will be up to its eyeballs in the Super Bowl race, but its chances could increase dramatically based on one thing.

"So, while there was uncertainty going into the 2024 season, Buffalo's offense seemingly being set for years keeps the franchise's championship window open for the foreseeable future," Buday writes. "The Bills' Super Bowl chances would just improve if they could get better on defense."

Due to the needs on the defensive side of the ball, many mock drafts have the Bills adding to their defensive line and the cornerback positions in the early rounds.

The offense is set, and while some might want another weapon for Allen, he showed last season he can still put up a lot of points without a No. 1 receiver.

Maybe one in the later rounds could be forthcoming, but adding some defensive power and muscle might be just the thing that keeps the Bills' Super Bowl window wide open for the foreseeable future.
