The Los Angeles Rams’ decision to draft two-time All-American running back Blake Corum in the third round of the NFL Draft has been hailed as a sleeper move by many in the media. Speaking of his college run with the Wolverines, Corum put together a monstrous season in 2023. He carried the football 258 times for 1,245 yards and 27 touchdowns. That’s right, he scored 27 touchdowns on the ground.
Those numbers show why the Rams are extremely excited to add Corum to their backfield. He’s one of the most productive running backs that we’ve seen in recent draft history.
Also, the addition of Corum will create healthy competition among the running backs in Los Angeles, pushing each player to get better. That competition will not only lead to better performance on the field, but it also helps create an even stronger locker room.
