Your Los Angeles Chargers have officially added a new wide receiver to their practice squad, with a matchup looming against the 6-6 Denver Broncos.

Per the team's X/Twitter account, LA has now officially inked free agent wide receiver Simi Fehoko to a practice squad contract, as was already reported on Charger Report via another source.

Denver over the last half of the 2023 NFL season has looked particularly mighty, having gone 5-1. Los Angeles, meanwhile, snapped a three-game skid with a miserable 6-0 victory over a tanking New England Patriots team last Sunday. The 6'4", 218-pound Stanford product notched one receiving yard on just two targets.

The third-year wideout, 26, was initially selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the fifth round of the 2021 draft, using the No. 179 pick.

The Bolts cut Fehoko on December 5th, only to reacquire him on the 7th. It's clearly a sign that team president Tom Telesco has confidence in Fehoko's upside, and is at least intrigued enough to keep him around for the time being.

Although Fehoko doesn't seem likely to see any reps on LA's standard 53-man roster this week, Telesco has the option to do that ahead of future Bolts matchups.
