The Los Angeles Chargers have seen better days than where they currently stand right now. The team is coming off two straight poor performances that saw them drop close games.

The defense played terribly in particular, leading to the defeats. It has become a real issue for this Bolts team, but safety Dean Marlowe isn't letting the talk get him down.

The Chargers believe in their defense and know how good they can be. Marlowe spoke about all the outside noise coming in, and how it has affected things for this team.

“If you let that outside noise trickle into your ear, you can become what you’re thinking,” safety Dean Marlowe said. “If we, as a group, believe in that outside noise, then that’s what we’re going to become.”

Per Jeff Miller of The Los Angeles Times

Head coach Brandon Staley has taken the brunt of the criticism for the Chargers losing this season, in part because it has been another year of the team underperforming. But Marlowe doesn't see it that way, he believes that the players are the ones on the field, and it isn't always on the coaching staff.

“When teams aren’t winning, they want to blame the coach,” Marlowe continued. “But there’s a lot of plays out there where players messed up and it had nothing to do with the coaches.”

Per Jeff Miller of The Los Angeles Times

No matter who is to blame, the fact is that the Chargers have dropped multiple games this season that they should have won. It has caused them to fall to a record of 4-6 on the season, and could easily see them slip down to 4-7 this week.

LA will be taking on the AFC-leading Baltimore Ravens, which will present all sorts of challenges for them. They will need to come in well-prepared, otherwise, it'll be more of the same for this Bolts squad.
