It’s looking more and more like Brandon Graham will be back for another run with the Philadelphia Eagles next season.

Earlier in the week, it was reported that the Eagles and Graham had mutual interest in a new deal, and on Thursday, the veteran defensive end confirmed that the two sides are talking.

“I’m glad to still be part of the plan,” Graham said, via Eliot Shorr-Parks of WIP. “Now it is about making it make sense for both parties.”

Graham is coming off of a 2023 campaign in which he played every game and logged 16 tackles and three sacks in a minimized role.

The 35-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Michigan, was selected by Philadelphia with the 13th overall pick of the 2010 NFL Draft.

He has been a member of the Eagles ever since.

Graham was a bit of a late bloomer, as he did not earn his first Pro Bowl appearance until 2020, which was his 11th NFL season. That year, he registered 46 tackles, eight sacks, a couple of forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

What’s more, the Detroit native did not post a double-digit sack campaign until 2022, when he racked up 11 sacks to go along with 35 tackles and a pair of forced fumbles.

While Graham has never been a superstar, he has remained a steady contributor along Philly’s defensive line for well over a decade, and outside of 2011 and 2021 where he played in three and two games, respectively, he has been very durable.

As a matter of fact, between 2012 and 2020, Graham missed just one contest.

We’ll likely see Brandon Graham in an Eagles jersey again next season.
