The San Francisco 49ers dominated the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, winning 35-16 to improve to 4-0 on the season, remaining as one of two undefeated teams in the NFL alongside the Philadelphia Eagles.

In the win, the 49ers dominated offensively, scoring touchdowns on five of their six offensive drives, with the spotlight on Christian McCaffrey after a four-touchdown performance, highlighting his impact on the San Francisco offense.

However, there was one performance that broke records and it came from the quarterback position, as Brock Purdy broke the 49ers single-game completion rate record against the Cardinals with his 20/21, 283-yard performance.

Purdy's 95.2% completion rate tops Steve Young's 90% completion rate in an 18/20 performance back in 1991, as well as Alex Smith's 18/19 performance against Arizona in 2012, although that didn't qualify due to a lack of 20+ passing attempts.

In addition, Purdy broke another record, recording the highest completion percentage over expected today against the Cardinals(+28.0%) by a quarterback with at least 20 pass attempts in a game over the last 7+ seasons.

Purdy's lone mishap came on a throw against pressure to the flat on a 3rd & 24, but, apart from that, the quarterback was flawless, completing passes at all three levels of the field en route to a historic performance in franchise history.
