Broncos' Von Miller: 'I’m going to kill' the Browns tackle I'm facing

Denver Broncos star pass-rusher Von Miller clearly has no sympathy for the fact that the Cleveland Browns are a walking-wounded side set to be without a pair of starting running backs and, likely, other noteworthy contributors for Thursday's prime-time game between the two 3-3 teams.

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters starting offensive tackles Jedrick Wills Jr. (ankle) and Jack Conklin (knee), who both missed this past Sunday's 37-14 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, didn't practice Tuesday but haven't yet been ruled out against Denver. Per Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk, Miller nevertheless called his shot later in the day.

"I will play well in this game," Miller vowed. "I’m going to have a great game. . . . I don’t know who the tackle I’m going against is, but I’m going to kill him."

Cardinals pass-rusher J.J. Watt feasted against an overmatched Cleveland offensive line in Week 6:

Miller, meanwhile, will enter Thursday evening with 4.5 sacks and 17 total tackles this season. Four of those sacks occurred in Denver's first three contests, and the Broncos have since dropped three straight. Even still, Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield might want to reconsider trying to play through his injured non-throwing shoulder on Thursday night.
