Browns' David Njoku rescinds trade request, is 'all-in' for 2020 season

It appears that David Njoku is ready to suit up for Cleveland in 2020.

The Browns tight end tweeted Saturday that he's "all-in" with Cleveland after requesting a trade earlier in the offseason.

According to ESPN's Jake Trotter, Njoku has reportedly rescinded his trade request...for now. Njoku apparently had some good meetings with the Browns, which led to him walking back his request.

Njoku's trade request likely was made because the Browns signed two-time Pro Bowl tight end Austin Hooper to a four-year, $44 million contract this offseason and selected Harrison Bryant in the fourth round of the NFL Draft.

Njoku played two seasons with the Browns before appearing in just four games last season due to a broken wrist. He has 93 receptions for 1,066 yards and nine touchdowns in his career.

He's slated to make a little more than $3 million against the cap this season and $6 million in 2021.
