The Browns just can't seem to catch a break when it comes to injuries.

After jumping out to a 14-0 lead over the Texans on Sunday, Houston found the end zone for the first time on a rare, Dameon Pierce kickoff return that early in the second quarter. The play proved more costly for Cleveland beyond the scoreboard as kicker Dustin Hopkins left the field after tweaking his hamstring trying to chase down Pierce.

Hopkins was quickly brought into the blue medical tent with team trainers and exited shortly thereafter. Two possessions later when the Browns found pay-dirt for a third time in the game, Hopkins stayed on the sideline as Cleveland went for two and converted it.

He is considered questionable for the remainder of the game.

If Hopkins is unable to return, it possess some problems for the Browns who will have to take field goals off the menu for the rest of the game. It also means punter Corey Bojorquez will handle the kickoff duties the rest of the way.

A lot was made this week about Hopkins closing in on the franchise record for points in a single season, currently held by franchise legend, Jim Brown at a mark of 126. Hopkins entered Sunday with 121 points this season and added two more with the first two Browns PATs in the game.

Passing Brown will likely have to wait now, but more importantly, the Browns are just hoping their Pro Bowl vote leading kicker is okay for the rest of the season.
