The Cleveland Browns returned to the practice field in Berea for the first time in over a week after last week's visit to Philadelphia for joint practices and the team's third preseason game. Head Coach Kevin Stefanski gave reporters some good news by telling them that starting right tackle was cleared from a concussion he suffered in practice against the Eagles and starting wide receiver Elijah Moore could return to practice fully from his rib injury.

It turns out though that backup guard Wes Martin is not practicing today and is currently in the concussion protocol. While nothing was officially reported during or following the game against the Eagles, you would have to assume that it was reported to the team over the weekend. Martin is among the dwindling list of players not practicing due to injury or health concerns.

Fortunately for the Browns, they do happen to have a lot of depth at the position with guys like Michael Dunn and Colby Gossett in the mix. All three have been solid in their snaps so far in preseason. For Martin the timing is not ideal as final cutdowns are just over one week away and his availability for the game Saturday in Kansas City will be questionable.
