Louisville edge rusher YaYa Diaby, a projected day 3 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, has drawn interest from the Browns and several other teams across the league.

In late March, Diaby had a productive virtual meeting with two members of the Browns staff, per a source.

This wasn't the first time the Browns had met with Diaby though. I'm told the two sides had an informal meeting in Indianapolis at the NFL Combine as well.

As mentioned earlier, Diaby is drawing interest from other teams around the league and has already completed a top-30 visit with the Jacksonville Jaguars and has two more scheduled with the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers, a source says.

At the NFL Combine, Diaby opened eyes after running a 4.51 40-yard dash, 120 inch broad jump and a 37 inch vertical jump. The 23-year-old Louisville product stands at 6-foot-3, 263 pounds.

In 2022, as a junior at Louisville, Diaby tallied 37 total tackles, nine sacks and two fumble recoveries.

He is a super athletic edge rusher and would add much needed depth to the position on the defensive side of the ball for the Browns.

This off-season, Cleveland signed edge rusher Ogbo Okoronkwo to pair with superstar Myles Garrett. Drafting Diaby would allow for him to learn under one of the leagues best defensive ends in Garrett while also seeing some on-the-field action to help his professional his development.

Diaby's meeting with the Browns went well, however, there are several other teams around the league who have their eye on him as well.

The Browns had a formal interview with Old Dominion offensive lineman Nick Saldiveri at the NFL Combine, a source said. Saldiveri opened eyes at the Senior Bowl in February and has met with a bunch of NFL teams through the pre-draft process.

Overall, the Browns are investigating every avenue ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft and will look to add to their roster come the end of April.
