Browns returner JoJo Natson out for season with torn ACL

The Cleveland Browns defeated the Washington Football Team 34-20 to improve to 2-1 on Sunday, but that home win wasn't without casualties.

Cleveland unveiled on Monday that wide receiver and returner JoJo Natson suffered a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the 2020 campaign.

The 26-year-old was with the Los Angeles Rams last December when a hamstring injury sidelined him. Los Angeles parted ways with Natson in March.

Natson appeared in all three of Cleveland's September games and returned a total of three punts and a single kickoff. He also tallied a rushing attempt for three yards in the victory over Washington.

"JoJo was doing a nice job for us on the offensive side," Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters on Monday. "As an offensive staff, those guys will sit down and figure out if there's another guy on the roster who can do those types of things. We've got to continue as much as we can to be difficult to defend. With JoJo's role, we'll work through that."

Natson's contract expires after the season.
