Before the start of October, P.J. Walker had never brought his team back in the fourth quarter for a victory. In the last two weeks, he has done it twice for the Cleveland Browns.

On Wednesday, the Browns made roster designation official by signing him to the active roster. He had previously been on the practice squad but had maxed out of gameday elevations after he was elevated for the third time this season in Week 7 against the Colts.

The Browns either needed to sign Walker to the 53-man roster or waive him (and risk being claimed by another team) to re-sign him to the practice squad, thus supplying him with three more gameday elevations for the season. The Browns decided waivers were not worth the risk as they continue to navigate through the uncertainty of starting QB Deshaun Watson and his shoulder injury.

In his two games with the Browns, Walker has completed 50 percent of his passes for 370 yards, three interceptions and a passer rating of 48.2. It hasn't been pretty, but Walker has produced game-winning drives in the last two games.

There are still way more questions than answers at the quarterback position as Watson is dealing with what appears to be a serious shoulder injury that is hindering his ability to throw the football.

The collective sigh of relief that all Browns fans had after the Titans' game feels like it was a lifetime ago. Watson looked great and this team seemed to have turned the corner. Since then, Watson is 1-for-5 for five yards and an interception.

If Watson is unable to get back to form this year, they will rely on Walker to continue winning games.
