Browns working virtually after another positive COVID-19 test

The Cleveland Browns were forced to close their facility for a day last week after a player tested positive for COVID-19. The same thing has happened on Wednesday.

Cleveland announced that another player, who has not been identified, has tested positive for the coronavirus. As a result, the team is working virtually in preparation for the matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

Four Browns players currently are on the reserve/COVID list, including defensive end Myles Garrett, fullback Andy Janovich, offensive lineman Chris Hubbard and defensive end Joe Jackson.

The NFL announced a number of new health and safety protocols on Tuesday, including the requirement for players to wear a mask on the sideline in order to minimize the spread of COVID-19. Players also must keep postgame interactions brief to decrease the risk of the coronavirus spreading between teams.

The Baltimore Ravens also have placed a number of players on the reserve/COVID list due to an outbreak within the organization. While Baltimore's matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers could be affected on Thursday, the Browns and Jaguars are expected to kick-off as expected this weekend.
