Buccaneers' Antonio Brown 'very questionable,' unlikely to play at Rams

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians isn't yet ruling star wide receiver Antonio Brown out for Sunday's game at the Los Angeles Rams after Brown landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list and reportedly tested positive for the virus earlier this week.

However, fantasy football owners with Brown on their rosters should make other plans.

Per Jenna Laine of ESPN, Arians told reporters Friday that Brown is "very questionable" for the Week 3 clash. Laine added it's "unlikely" the 33-year-old will be cleared in time to travel to Los Angeles.

Brown and his teammates are considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19, so he can return to team activities if he reports zero virus symptoms and produces two negative tests 24 hours apart.

Inside linebacker/special teams captain Kevin Minter and practice squad receiver Travis Jonsen are also on the reserve/COVID-19 list, and Arians suggested both Minter and Brown could be available for the Week 4 game against the New England Patriots.

Brown ended the season's first two weeks leading the Buccaneers with 23.0 yards per catch on six receptions and sitting second on the team with 138 receiving yards.

In more bad news for Tampa Bay fans, star pass-rusher Jason Pierre-Paul (hand and shoulder injuries) and kick returner Jaydon Mickens (abdominal) missed practice all week and have officially been ruled out for the showdown with the Rams.
