Buccaneers expected to re-sign Antonio Brown 'soon'?

Earlier this month, Antonio Brown made a plea for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to re-sign him, commenting on one of the team's Instagram posts saying, "Sign AB." It appears the talented wide receiver will get his wish.

According to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, the Buccaneers will re-sign Brown "soon."

After serving his eight-game suspension for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy, Brown signed with the Buccaneers and served as a solid No. 3 option behind Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

Tom Brady recruited Brown to Tampa, and he didn't disappoint. In eight regular-season games, the 32-year-old caught 45 passes for 483 yards and four touchdowns. He caught eight passes for 81 yards and two touchdowns in three playoff games, including five catches for 22 yards and a score against the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

The Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens were reportedly very interested in signing Brown this offseason. It appears they'll have to look for receiver help elsewhere.
