The Tampa Bay Buccaneers couldn’t ask for more from quarterback Tom Brady.

He delivered the franchise’s second Super Bowl after dominating the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV.

They had the chance to make it two in a row, but the eventual Super Bowl LVI champion Los Angeles Rams had other plans.

Despite the disappointing finish, Brady had one of his better seasons with 5,316 passing yards and 43 touchdowns.

While both numbers led the league last season, he finished second in the MVP race to Aaron Rodgers.

More importantly, he ended his 40-day retirement to have one more go with the Buccaneers.

However, it’s difficult to see him playing for Tampa Bay beyond the 2022 season.

Tampa Bay Times reporter Rick Stroud tweeted, “Not a foregone conclusion at all, however, he declined to add any more years to his deal and has a no franchise player clause. Given his interaction with the Dolphins this past off-season, it would seem possible he moves on after 2023.”

He said this in response to a Twitter user who said, “Serious ?. Why does it seem like a foregone conclusion that if TB12 plays in 2023 it won’t be as a Buc? The roster isn’t trash at all. Just wondering why, whenever it’s brought up it’s always the next team and not as a Buc?”

Brady To The Dolphins Would Be Monumental

He will be playing the final year of his contract with the Buccaneers and it remains to be seen if he will return to Tampa Bay in 2023.

However, it would be enticing to join the Dolphins because of a receiving corps that has Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill.

Brady would get the most out of these wideouts and even the talented backfield with Chase Edmonds, Raheem Mostert, Sony Michel, and Myles Gaskin.

Playing for the Dolphins would also give him at least two opportunities to humiliate the New England Patriots.

But until he makes an announcement, Brady’s decision remains uncertain.
