Buccaneers season tickets sold out for full-capacity seating

Roughly one month after their Super Bowl LV victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers confirmed they were raising ticket prices for the 2021 NFL season.

Fans weren't too bothered by the changes.

According to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, the Buccaneers have sold out all preseason and regular-season home games set to be held at Raymond James Stadium. As of Thursday, the Bucs plan to fill the venue to capacity for each contest, something they and other teams were unable to do last year because of the coronavirus pandemic.

"This is a momentous achievement for the organization and our fans," Buccaneers CEO Brian Ford said in a prepared statement. "We have worked closely with the Tampa Sports Authority to welcome back the best fans in the NFL and we are excited to play in a completely full Raymond James Stadium this upcoming season. To have the entire season sold out before we even reach training camp is a testament to the passionate and loyal fan base."

Stroud added that fans vaccinated against COVID-19 won't have to wear masks inside Raymond James Stadium, but unvaccinated patrons will need to use approved face coverings. The venue's listed seating capacity is 65,890, but interested individuals will have to flock to third-party sellers to watch Tom Brady and company defend their championship in-person in Tampa.
