Buccaneers' Tom Brady offers 'relationship advice' amid divorce rumors

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady chose an interesting time to sign off on the release of a clip showing him offering "relationship advice" to a fan.

As shared by the Joe Bucs Fan website, the Buccaneers posted a new "Armchair QB" YouTube video on Thursday that features Brady answering submitted questions. The segment begins with somebody named Rachel asking the seven-time Super Bowl champion if she should move on from a love interest because that person spends too much time on social media.

"Any relationship, whether you’re pursuing a romantic relationship, whether you’re just pursuing a work relationship, I think that if they’re not getting it done because other things are in the way like their social media presence, you gotta ship 'em out," Brady responded after making a joke about his wide receivers. "It’s very important."

Brady has, of course, been in headlines throughout the past couple of months due to numerous reports claiming that he and wife Gisele Bündchen have hired divorce attorneys because their relationship is "beyond saving." Neither the 45-year-old nor Bündchen have publicly commented on the stories about their marriage.

While it's unclear when the "Armchair QB" video was recorded, Joe Bucs Fan notes that "everything Brady does is calculated" and that it's noteworthy Brady "advised someone to dump their partner because 'other things are in the way.'"

It was back in early September when the first story emerged stating that Brady and Bündchen were experiencing problems over his decision to un-retire and play during the 2022 NFL season.

"From a football perspective, Joe hopes Brady making this video is a sign that he’s at peace with the changes in his personal life and is laser-focused on the Buccaneers," Joe Bucs Fan added.

Meanwhile, the 3-2 Buccaneers play at the 1-4 Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
