Buccaneers' Tom Brady told not to scowl during games by daughter

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady recently received some advice from 9-year-old daughter Vivian about his actions during games. 

"My daughter always says, 'Daddy, you did not have a happy face out there.' And I'm trying! I wish I would have more awareness of what the scowl looks like, but I'm doing my best to try to get to a better place and better peace of mind out there," Brady explained during this week's edition of his "Let's Go!" SiriusXM show and podcast that also features broadcaster Jim Gray, per Angela Andaloro of People. 

Brady and the Buccaneers began the season at 2-0, but multiple observers have noted that the 45-year-old signal-caller has looked downright "miserable" during games this fall. In the Week 2 win over the New Orleans Saints on Sept. 18, television cameras picked up Brady violently throwing a sideline tablet to the ground. Since that result, the Buccaneers have dropped five of seven contests but ended a three-game losing streak via this past Sunday's 16-13 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. 

"That little girl was very excited for her dad," Brady added about Vivian's reaction to Sunday's win. "She is my number one cheerleader, and I wouldn't have it any other way." 

Brady's previous antics throughout the season occurred amid stories that he and Gisele Bündchen were experiencing marital issues. The two confirmed their divorce on Oct. 28. 

According to ESPN stats, Brady is second in the NFL with 2,547 passing yards this season. The seven-time Super Bowl champion is 13th among eligible players with a 90.5 passer rating, 16th with a 51.4 total QBR, and tied for 16th with 10 touchdown passes in nine games. 

The 4-5 Buccaneers face the 6-3 Seattle Seahawks in Munich, Germany, this Sunday and then go on their bye week.
