The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Green Bay Packers clash today during the four o’clock slate. Both teams will be without big names for their game, but there will also be two exciting debuts. The Buccaneers will look to stay perfect in 2022, as the Packers will try to capture their second win. Here is a look at who is out for both teams today.

Packers Down a Receiver Against Buccaneers

The Packers will look to build off of the dominant win against Chicago last week. Green Bay will be without the following players for the contest today:

  • WR Christian Watson
  • T Rasheed Walker
  • T Caleb Jones
  • G/T Sean Rhyan
  • WR Samori Toure
  • DL Jonathan Ford

Unfortunately for the Packers, they will be without a good chunk of their offensive line depth. Walker, Jones, and Rhyan were all limited in practice and have now been ruled out. However, David Bakhtiari is expected to make his debut for the 2022 season today against Tom Brady and Tampa Bay. Bakhtiari should be a major boost on the line, which has Elgton Jenkins back as well.

Christian Watson is out this week, which was expected after limited practice. The rookie will look to bounce back next week against the Patriots. Along with Watson, Samori Toure will be out for the game as well. The Packers have chosen to elevate wide receiver Juwann Winfree to play today, and with the injuries he could see a decent amount of snaps.

Buccaneers Call-Up WR from Practice Squad

The Buccaneers also have a long list of inactive players. Tom Brady will look to lean on his newly acquired receiver, Cole Beasley, as they aim to knock off the Packers. He will make his season debut today after being elevated from the practice squad. Here is a look at who Tampa Bay will have to play without today:

  • WR Chris Godwin
  • DL Akiem Hicks
  • WR Julio Jones
  • CB Zyon McCollum
  • TE Cade Otton
  • T Donovan Smith
  • QB Kyle Trask

Both Chris Godwin and Julio Jones will not take the field for the Buccaneers today. As mentioned previously, Cole Beasley should takeover their duties. Akiem Hicks is out as well, which is a significant injury for the Bucs since he knows the Packers the best from his time with the Bears. Hicks understands how to disrupt the quarterback and has done an excellent job at it.
