One Arizona Cardinals star had an unsettling moment with an overzealous fan this week.

Cardinals safety Budda Baker revealed in a tweet on Sunday that a fan tried to enter his house in a misguided attempt to meet him. Baker was not home at the time, but the intruder frightened Baker’s younger sister.

“My little sister was terrified today because a fan went into my gate of my house and walked down to my garage where she was leaving,” he tweeted. “I never thought I would need to say this but PLEASE DO NOT enter my house wanting to greet me. That is my HOME. I will Die to protect the people in it.

“If that was me I would have drawn my weapon on you quick,” the veteran Cardinal went on. “I don’t know who you are pulling into my house. So once again PLEASE do not come to my home thinking it is appropriate to ask to meet me. Thank you.”

Baker, who is a four-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro, is an extremely popular Cardinal. He has been with Arizona for his entire NFL career and is one of the best in the league at his position.

Unfortunately though, some fans do not have any boundaries and think that it is acceptable to go to a player’s private residence, creating the potential for a dangerous situation. The incident at Baker’s house is the latest in what has already been a bizarre offseason for the Cardinals.
