Cardinals GM Steve Keim: 'Zero chance' Pro Bowl QB Kyler Murray is traded

Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim is apparently having none of the trade talk surrounding two-time Pro Bowl quarterback Kyler Murray.

Murray is among a host of Cardinals players who are skipping the start of the team's voluntary offseason conditioning program, but teammates like James Conner and J.J. Watt have downplayed the signal-caller's absence. Chase Edmonds and Patrick Peterson are a pair of players to recently depart Arizona and had a slightly different take on Wednesday.

In February, Murray curiously erased his social media accounts of any mention of the Cardinals and also unfollowed the team. Last week, it was revealed that Arizona hadn't yet offered the 24-year-old a contract extension.

Head coach Kliff Kingsbury — and Murray himself — indicated in March that things were smooth between the two parties. Murray's rookie contract runs through the 2022 season and carries a fifth-year option for 2023, and he's set to earn slightly more than $5.4 million for next season.
