On Monday, the Arizona Cardinals made several roster moves, including placing CB Rashad Fenton on the IR and simultaneously releasing RB Stevie Scott

Fenton was signed by the Cardinals back in March, following a three-season stint with the Kansas City Chiefs and a brief appearance in a couple of games with the Atlanta Falcons.

Currently, the extent of the injury’s severity remains uncertain, casting doubt on whether Fenton will make a return during this season at all.

Conversely, Stevie Scott has been released after a brief tenure of less than a week in Arizona.

In the wake of Marlon Mack’s season-ending Achilles injury, the Cardinals have been in search of a stable second option behind James Conner, leading them to shuffle through various running backs.

During the Cardinals’ preseason matchup against the Broncos on Friday, Scott remained on the sidelines without any playing time.

Stay tuned for further updates.
