ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith came under scrutiny recently when previewing a late-season game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers — focusing on a matchup between then-injured Chargers tight end Hunter Henry and free agent linebacker Derrick Johnson.

Needless to say, Smith’s take made no sense given that neither player actually suited up for the game.

Smith is now out here questioning the Arizona Cardinals’ decision to hire former Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury.

That was not lost on the Cardinals’ social media team, who absolutely trolled Smith in the best possible way Wednesday.

Seriously, the Twitter overlords should ban the Cardinals for such a devastating blow to Smith. It’s about as perfect as it gets.

Sure the Cardinals deserve some scrutiny for hiring Kingsbury after he finished his college coaching career with a losing record. But if this tweet is any indication, prepare to be blasted if you question said hiring.
