This week, the Los Angeles Chargers are preparing for their Week 13 matchup against the New England Patriots.

It's been a while since the Chargers captured a win, and they'll look to do so on the road. However, like the Chargers, the Patriots may come into this game a little hobbled , as many of their players were limited in Wednesday's practice. At the same time, two of their pass catchers, wide receivers Demario Douglas and Ty Montgomery II, missed practice.

Douglas left their game against the New York Giants on Sunday due to a head injury. Although his injury is listed as a concussion, he told reporters he wasn't in the concussion protocol. Demario missed a game earlier this week due to a concussion, and even though this injury isn't a concussion, the Patriots will play this one cautiously.

As for Montgomery, he is dealing with an illness that caused him to miss Wednesday's practice. The 30-year-old wide receiver has two more days, including today, to return to the field before the final injury report on Friday.

We'll find out soon enough whether these two key players will be out there for New England.
