We're about two months into NFL free agency, and many players have found new homes while many have stuck with their teams from 2022 and prior.

Even though many of the top remaining free agents are off the board, there are still good free agents remaining. Many NFL teams, including the Chargers, could still use some depth or add necessary pieces to their roster. We'll see how the rest of the offseason plays out. In the meantime, Yahoo Sports NFL insider Eric Mullin listed the best available NFL free agents and put former LA CB Bryce Callahan on the list.

CB Bryce Callahan, Los Angeles Chargers

Callahan, 31, is the first of two notable cornerbacks still on the market. In his first season with the Chargers, the slot corner recorded a career-high three interceptions, along with six passes defended and 47 tackles, while logging a career-best 15 appearances.(Via Yahoo Sports)

Callahan spent the 2022 season with the Chargers signing a one-year deal worth $1.12 million in May 2022.

The 31-year-old has spent seven seasons in the league, mainly with the Chicago Bears, and two seasons with LA's division rival Denver Broncos.

In 2022, he played in 15 games, started in 11 of them, and had three interceptions, 47 combo tackles, two tackles for loss, and two QB hits.

The Chargers could still use some depth in that position if he's willing to return and if the Bolts would welcome him back. It doesn't hurt to have another CB, especially a veteran like Callahan.
