First-round draft picks are super valuable. Not everyone gets to choose in the first round; ask the Chargers counterparts in the LA Rams.

Nonetheless, your Los Angeles Chargers have a first-round draft pick this season, and they have many ways to go. Many mock drafts by NFL experts have Los Angeles going many different routes, as do fans on social media. It's nice to always speculate and guess who they'll choose; however, one NFL insider has the Bolts doing something different with their 21st overall pick.

NFL insider for the NFL network Jesse Palmer believes the Chargers should trade back to accumulate more picks.

"I'm going to say trade back out of number 21 if you have the ability to do that. They had said that they would love to build through the draft for the future. You have to start trying to find wins with young talent. Slide back and get a receiver, a tight end, slide back and get a running back with multiple picks. They could get more picks if they trade back and find a suitor at 21."

I'm not opposed to what Palmer is suggesting. LA is still determining who the Chargers will choose with the 21st pick, but trading it for more picks is a solid route to go. Your Bolts have seven picks in the 2023 draft, and trading one or many of their picks could happen.

If the Chargers' front office finds a spot where they feel will be better, best believe they won't hesitate to pull the trigger. Depending on what comes up the day of, LA may even trade for a proven player for their picks.

We're three weeks away from the draft, Charger fans; buckle up!
